Recipe: Peanut Butter Banana Oat Bars
Utensils:
- Measuring Cups
- 2 Large Mixing Bowls
- Parchment Paper
- 9 inch square baking pan
- A spoon or whisk to stir the ingredients
- Cutting board or area designated to puree (mash) bananas
- Knife or pizza slicer to cut the bars into squares.
Ingredients
- 3 Ripe Bananas, Mashed
- 1 Cup of Natural Peanut Butter
- ¼ Cup of Maple Syrup
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract or imitation vanilla
- 2 cup of rolled oats
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- ¼ tsp of salt
- ¾ cup of dark chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350℉ and line your baking pan with parchment paper.
- In the first bowl mix your dry ingredients and set aside. (Oats, Cinnamon, Baking Powder and Salt)
- Mash your three bananas on a cutting board. Then In the second mixing bowl mix all of your wet ingredients. (Mashed Bananas, Peanut Butter, Maple Syrup, Egg, Vanilla & Dark Chocolate Chips)
- Add your dry ingredients to your wet ingredients and pour the batter mixture into the baking pan.
- Bake for 28 to 30 minutes. Pull it out of the oven and let the mixture cool before slicing the squares. Enjoy!
