Recipe: Peanut Butter Banana Oat Bars

Utensils:

  1. Measuring Cups
  2. 2 Large Mixing Bowls
  3. Parchment Paper
  4. 9 inch square baking pan
  5. A spoon or whisk to stir the ingredients
  6. Cutting board or area designated to puree (mash) bananas
  7. Knife or pizza slicer to cut the bars into squares.

Ingredients

  1. 3 Ripe Bananas, Mashed
  2. 1 Cup of Natural Peanut Butter
  3. ¼ Cup of Maple Syrup
  4. 1 egg
  5. 1 tsp vanilla extract or imitation vanilla
  6. 2 cup of rolled oats
  7. 1 tsp of cinnamon
  8. 1 tsp of baking powder
  9. ¼ tsp of salt
  10. ¾ cup of dark chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350℉ and line your baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In the first bowl mix your dry ingredients and set aside. (Oats, Cinnamon, Baking Powder and Salt)
  3. Mash your three bananas on a cutting board. Then In the second mixing bowl mix all of your wet ingredients. (Mashed Bananas, Peanut Butter, Maple Syrup, Egg, Vanilla & Dark Chocolate Chips)
  4. Add your dry ingredients to your wet ingredients and pour the batter mixture into the baking pan.
  5. Bake for 28 to 30 minutes. Pull it out of the oven and let the mixture cool before slicing the squares. Enjoy!
