Recipe: Dark Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Banana Bars

Utensils:

  1. Measuring Cups
  2. 2 Large Mixing Bowls
  3. Parchment Paper
  4. 9 inch square baking pan
  5. A spoon or whisk to stir the ingredients
  6. Cutting board or area designated to puree (mash) bananas
  7. Knife or pizza slicer to cut the bars into squares.

Ingredients

  1. 1 Tbsp of Ground Flaxseed
  2. 2 ½ Cups of Oats
  3. 1 tsp of baking powder
  4. 1 cup of dark chocolate chip
  5. 2 Eggs
  6. 2 Large Pureed (or Mashed) Bananas
  7. ¼ cup of coconut yogurt
  8. ¼ cup of Peanut Butter
  9. ¼ cup of Maple Syrup
  10. ¼ cup of Almond Milk
  11. 1 tsp of vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350℉ and line your baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In the first bowl mix your dry ingredients and set aside.
  3. In the second mixing bowl mix all of your wet ingredients.
  4. Add your dry ingredients to your wet ingredients and pour the batter mixture into the baking pan.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes. Pull it out of the oven and let the mixture cool before slicing the squares. Enjoy!
