Recipe: Dark Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Banana Bars
Utensils:
- Measuring Cups
- 2 Large Mixing Bowls
- Parchment Paper
- 9 inch square baking pan
- A spoon or whisk to stir the ingredients
- Cutting board or area designated to puree (mash) bananas
- Knife or pizza slicer to cut the bars into squares.
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp of Ground Flaxseed
- 2 ½ Cups of Oats
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 1 cup of dark chocolate chip
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Large Pureed (or Mashed) Bananas
- ¼ cup of coconut yogurt
- ¼ cup of Peanut Butter
- ¼ cup of Maple Syrup
- ¼ cup of Almond Milk
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350℉ and line your baking pan with parchment paper.
- In the first bowl mix your dry ingredients and set aside.
- In the second mixing bowl mix all of your wet ingredients.
- Add your dry ingredients to your wet ingredients and pour the batter mixture into the baking pan.
- Bake for 25 minutes. Pull it out of the oven and let the mixture cool before slicing the squares. Enjoy!
